Split up the "Official" Stragety Guide
The problem with the official strategy guide is that parts of it are in accurate at press (due to changes or non-caught errors) when it's printed vs when the game launches.
Release an Mission/Quest/PvP guide on the campaign. Include the maps, how to beat mission's quest listening, etc as in other guides but go very light on all of the other material.
Add in out to play (aka manual) and you would have to at least print the jobs and skill list but only go in depth on the Campaign jobs. There would be some duplication (but only go all out on the campaign classes)
1 Month after the new campaign is out, release the "Bi-Annual" Skill / Job / Merchant/Salvage info.
This would include each job, all the skills / armor etc (from all campaigns) up to date as of the printing and all the stat stuff in the back of the guide. This would be also a good time to have a what has changed section for system changes such as removal of the attribute refund system, guild hall upgrades.
I would make this book on cheaper stock and make the price $10 or less. This is more of an offline reference book, not how to beat the game.
This would add value to the campaign guide by focusing on the pvp (and how to access it), with mission and quest info. This information can hold up vs all the inaccurate reference info and skill lists that start happening when the new game launches.
And the "Skill/Job/Armor/Update" make a great reference lookup book that as long as it's cheaper could sell well. As long as it comes out after the game comes out (it's more of an semi-annual book, not a new campaign book) that will avoid a ton of bad info at launch by having the majority of the game finalized when it prints.
I do know some of the responses just go to guildwiki... but some of us do like having a printed reference that great for a long car ride and such.
